Brent Buchwald

In the vibrant tapestry of the music world, few threads shine as brightly and diversely as the career of Brent Buchwald. With a vocal journey spanning over four decades, Buchwald has become a resonant name in the realms of gospel, rock, country, and pop music.

Buchwald’s musical odyssey began in his early years, a time when his voice, both raw and passionate, first echoed in the halls of local venues. His innate talent quickly became apparent, leading him to explore and embrace a variety of musical genres. His versatility became his signature, allowing him to adapt his voice to the soulful strains of gospel, the rhythmic beats of rock, the heartfelt twangs of country, and the catchy rhythms of pop.

Throughout his 40-year career, Brent Buchwald has not just sung notes; he has told stories, evoked emotions, and created a legacy that resonates with the soulful touch of his diverse musical experiences. His journey is a testament to the power of passion, versatility, and the enduring love of music.

Pete Dawson

Pete hails from Northern Ontario where he lead and fronted bands over a decades long career in the bar circuit playing genres ranging from country to hard driving rock.

He also was a band leader in the Northern Ontario Country Open Singing Contest for eight years running. He has opened for Rick Emmett, Doug & the Slugs and has recently played alongside Bill Durst and Ed Pranskus of Thundermug fame.

He has also served a decade and a half leading the worship band at Forest City Community Church in London, spending his last year there as Music Director. While in London Pete was a major contributor on two of Tommy Solo’s albums “Introducing The Night Crew” and “Only Human”, and is a co-founder of “10th Avenue”, Canada premier Springsteen Tribute”.

Currently he is back in his home town of North Bay where he has added his unique flavour the many local acts including Gravitas, The Pickup Band, The Funkers, North Facing Folk, and Those Lights.

Dylan Shigwadja

Dylan Shigwadja, an Anishinabe multi-instrumentalist from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on the shores of Manitoulin Island and currently resides in North Bay, Ontario.

Dylan’s impressive career includes performances with numerous local and well-known acts, contributions to multiple studio projects, and sharing the stage with esteemed artists such as Juno-award winners Leland Bell and Crystal Shawanda, along with Aboriginal Peoples Choice Award and Canadian Folk Music Awards Indigenous Songwriter of the year Nominee David Laronde.

In recognition of his significant contributions to the country music scene, Dylan was inducted into the Country Hall of Fame in the summer of 2016. More recently, in the Fall of 2018, Dylan contributed to the soundtrack of the film “Falls Around Her” alongside longtime friend and Composer Julian Cote. Directed by Darlene Naponse of Atikameksheng, ON (Whitefish), the film stands as a testament to Dylan’s ongoing commitment to his craft and musical innovation.
